Super Kale Bites
*Tools needed: Food processor (blender could work), dehydrator (oven could work too at lowest setting)
2-Bunches of Kale
2p Cashews
2p Almonds
2p Sunflower Seeds
1p Hemp Seeds
1/4p Dates
4p Lemon juice
2p Apple Cider Vinegar. Raw
1p Nettles, freshly ground
1/2p Sea Palm
1/2p Paprika powder
1/2p Black Pepper, freshly ground
1/4p Cinnamon powder
**The parts for the cashews are not the same measurements as the nettles or lemon juice which is why they are all divided in groups. The parts signify any measurement you choose, but just stick with it for that group. For example I would use cups for the nuts and tablespoons for the herbs and liquid.
Steps
Tare Kale in to medium or bite size pieces and toss into a bowl. Set aside.
In a food processor blend everything except the Kale together. Best to start with small batches.
I like starting with my nuts and seeds, blending them with the liquid to get the texture I like. Once they are blended together I add the herbs. You do not want this to be too watery but don't worry if you need to use some water to get it to work for you. This will all be dried like chips in the end.
If you don't like to get your fingers dirty, put some plastic gloves on for this next step. Get your dehydrator trays out or a baking sheet for the oven.
Now you are going to slather the paste onto the kale. After it is coated put the piece on the tray.
Dehydrate for whole day up to two days at 95 degrees. If using oven put it to the lowest setting. Check on it often, it may be done in an hour.
Bon Appetite!
